I am setting up a new Mac Mini Server for the first time and cannot connect to it from the local network. The Mini is connected to the local network and the internet via an Airport Extreme Base Station. The server appears in the Finder of my MacBook Pro under 'Shared' but will not connect. I was able to connect prior to turning on some services in Server Admin (including enabling the Firewall). I allowed the server to control the Base Station upon initial setup but was not sure if it configures and turns on it's firewall services automatically. Should I have Firewall enabled in Server Admin?
